European Workshop CLIMAGRI

The European Federation of Conservation Agriculture (ECAF), is organizing a European Workshop which will be held on November 7, 2018. The event will take place at the European Parliament headquarters in Brussels and will serve as the culmination of the LIFE + Climagri project (www.climagri.eu), which is the basis of the Workshop and whose consortium includes ECAF. This project reveals a series of Good Management Practices clearly aligned with the 3 main objectives of the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

Three MEPs will host the event:

  • Clara Aguilera, Vice President of the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament; Spain.
  • Annie Schreijer-Pierik, Member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety of the European Parliament and Substitute of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. Group of the European People’s Party; Netherland
  • Ivan Jakovčić, Member of the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe; Croatia.

During the Workshop, topics of great interest and importance for the development of the future CAP will be addressed. Its deliberations on its reform will be in full development on the dates in which the event will take place.

The discussion sessions organized during this event will represent a great opportunity for attendees to show their opinion on addressed topics.
